~Bananas have defensive action against the acidity and heart burn. Eating a banana every day will stop such conditions
•Obtain a mixture of 2 tsp of normal apple cider vinegar and 2 tsp raw honey in a glass of water earlier than meals. One of the well liked home remedy for acidity.
•Stay away from fried foods, pickles, hot spicy foods, vinegar, and chocolate
•Stay away from raw salad of vegetables like onion, cabbage, radish, and peppers
•Keep away from unripe high pectin fruits, such as unripe apple. But ripe apple such as delicius apple or fuji apple may help out
•Grind up the food properly. Do not consume in hurry
•Do not bounce meals. Do not keep great gap between meals. This produces gas / current of air.
•Drink lots of water, at least 8 glasses each day
•Do not eat just previous to going to bed
•End smoking and cut down on alcohol

•A good Home Remedy for Acidity is to chew up a few basil (tulsi ) leaves to obtain relief from blazing, nausea and gas
•Stay a small part of jaggery (gur) in your jaws and slowly suck it. Repeat it each hour till acidity subsides. One of the best home remedies for acidity.
•Eat watermelon, banana or cucumber each hour.
•Eat a few almonds when your experience heartburn symptoms. This is good Home Remedy for Acidity
•Gulp coconut water 4-5 periods a day.

Materials:
2 liter bottle

glue
1 tsp yeast
1/2 cup sugar
lukewarm water


Instructions:

Cut the top off a 2 liter bottle. Invert the cone and place it inside the straight part of the bottle. 
Glue the two pieces together. Add 1 tsp yeast and 1/2 cup sugar to some luke warm water, and pour the mixture into the bottle. Mosquitoes are attracted to the carbon dioxide that you exhale. The yeast feeds off the sugar and emits the same gas, so the mosquito enters the bottle, thinking it will find food there and is trapped.

The bottle gourd is a common vegetable in India. It is yellowish green, having the shape of a bottle. It has white pulp, with white seeds embedded in spongy flesh.
Bottle gourds are one of the favorite vegetables of Indians and has numerous health benefits. They are especially good for old aged peoples.

Lauki (Dudhi in Gujarati) have lot of medicinal value. Have a juice of lauki,tomato,karela,few pudina leaves and 4 to 5 Tulsi leaves - add pepper also for taste- daily early morning with empty stomach.
This one is best for Diabetes, heart problems, B.P. and so many other ailments. Those who do not have any such problems can also have this Juice as a health tonic)


Low in Calories and FatThe bottle gourd is low in fat and cholesterol yet high in dietary fibre. It contains 96% water and 100gm of it contains around 12 Kcal. Heart-Healthy Drink Recipe: A Veggie Drink for a Healthy Heart.


Ingredients:


One small Bottle gourd- peeled and cut into cubes
A piece of cabbage - 1 cup of cubes
5 peppercorns
10 leaves of mint / holybasil leaves
a pinch of salt
1/2 tea spoon olive oil/canola oil
10 drops of lemon juice
coriander leaves (optional)
10 spinach leaves (optional)
5 baby carrots (optional)
1 celery stick (optional) peel the long strands as it may not get blended smoothly with other ingredients.

Cooking steps:
1: Wash Bottle gourd, Cabbage and mint leaves
2: Peel bottle gourd and cut into pieces.
3: Cut cabbage into pieces
4: In a vessel heat 1 cup water.
5: Add all the ingredients except oil to it. Keep the ingredients to boil. Add the optional vegetables as per your liking.
6: Once the vegetables turn translucent or look cooked turn off the heat.
7: Let the liquid cool off , then put everything in a mixer and blend it. Let it cool if needed.
8: Whenever ready to eat heat the soup or drink and add few drops of olive oil and lemon juice
9: Add chopped coriander or parsley leaves for flavor and fresh aroma.

A great exercise is to sit upright, tilt your head back looking at the ceiling while keeping your lips closed and then start a chewing movement.
You will feel the muscles working in your neck and throat area - and will be truly amazed at the results.
Repeat 20 times.

Sit upright, tilt your head back looking at the ceiling, while keeping your lips closed and relaxed.
Start puckering your lips together in a kiss and stretch the kiss, as if you were trying to kiss the ceiling.
Keep your lips puckered for 10 counts, then relax, bring your head back to its normal position and repeat 5 times.

Sit upright, tilt your head back looking at the ceiling, while keeping your lips closed and relaxed.
Open your lips and stick your tongue out as if you were trying to touch your chin with the tip of your tongue.
Keep your tongue out in this position for 10 counts, and then return your tongue and head to its normal position.

# 4
Sit upright, tilt your head back looking at the ceiling, while keeping your lips closed and relaxed.
Next move your lower lip over your top lip as far as possible and keep it there for a count of 5.
Relax and repeat 5 times.

# 5
Lie on your bed, with your head hanging down over the edge.
Slowly bring your head up towards your torso and keep it there for 10 counts.
Relax and lower your head towards the floor again.
Repeat 5 times.

# 6
Sit upright and face forward and while keeping your lips together, separate your teeth by dropping your jaw and then push your jaw forward, keep for a count of 10, bring back to starting position.
Repeat 5 times.

Before you even get out of bed in the morning, do 10 stomach crunches while lying flat on your mattress. Increase daily by one until you get up to 100. Think you'll never get there? Try it.
