Acidity and heartburn are due to presence of too much acid in the stomach that causes exasperation of the gastrointestinal casing. This causes a blazing pain. When this excessive acid leaks back into the throat this inflames and the reaction of heartburn is produced.

Causes of Acidity and Heartburn:

The following circumstances can create excessive acid in stomach causing acidity and heartburn.
•Consumption of  rich and spicy foods
•Eating speedily, very fast devoid of proper chewing
•Eating hurriedly while beneath stress
•Inappropriate sleep
•Alcohol utilization
•Pregnant women may undergo because when the baby grows, the uterus exerts force on the digestive area
•Overweight people may bear because of unnecessary pressure on their digestive tract.

Avoidance of Acidity & Heartburn

~A number of people are more prone than others to acidity and heartburkal 9n as they have difficulty in digesting some foods.
~Bananas have defensive action against the acidity and heart burn. Eating a banana every day will stop such conditions
•Obtain a mixture of 2 tsp of normal apple cider vinegar and 2 tsp raw honey in a glass of water earlier than meals. One of the well liked home remedy for acidity.
•Stay away from fried foods, pickles, hot spicy foods, vinegar, and chocolate
•Stay away from raw salad of vegetables like onion, cabbage, radish, and peppers
•Keep away from unripe high pectin fruits, such as unripe apple. But ripe apple such as delicius apple or fuji apple may help out
•Grind up the food properly. Do not consume in hurry
•Do not bounce meals. Do not keep great gap between meals. This produces gas / current of air.
•Drink lots of water, at least 8 glasses each day
•Do not eat just previous to going to bed
•End smoking and cut down on alcohol
Home Remedy for Acidity
•A good Home Remedy for Acidity is to chew up a few basil (tulsi ) leaves to obtain relief from blazing, nausea and gas
•Stay a small part of jaggery (gur) in your jaws and slowly suck it. Repeat it each hour till acidity subsides. One of the best home remedies for acidity.
•Eat watermelon, banana or cucumber each hour.
•Eat a few almonds when your experience heartburn symptoms. This is good Home Remedy for Acidity
•Gulp coconut water 4-5 periods a day.
•Drink a glass of cold milk for quick relief of heartburn and acidity
•Acquire one piece of clove and suck on it gradually
•Drink fresh mint juice gradually after meals. This remedy is best Home Remedies for Acidity
•Drink every day a 1 tsp juice of chebulic myrobalan mixed with 1 tsp of amla (Indian gooseberry) juice. This is another Home Remedy for Acidity.
•Maintaining an standing posture for some time after food will help in preventing reaction
•Sleep with your head and shoulder on a elevated pillow for height.

A diet Plan to loose weight

As I said before “NO feasting NO fasting” is better than the GM diet up to me. Because with the following dieting habit My husband reduced 5 lbs in a week and I followed GM diet and I reduced only 9 :(
With much struggle I reduced 9 and with out any problem he reduced 5 means I want to follow that type of diet only. What do you say?

So I made a list to follow with out much struggle.Please go through it.
· Morning walk or do some exercise.
· Have a break fast without fail.
· Have a regular meal with out much oil or much spicy
· Reduce salt intake.
· Avoid taking fried items.
· No too much snacks and drinks like coke.
·Have only veg., veg. soups or fruits in the night. Preferably only fruits that too apple and oranges.
.Important thing take one glass of low fat milk with your diet.
First thing in the morning:
take 1 tea spoon fenugreek seeds as it is and swallow with water.Go for a walk or do tread mill. (I can do only 10 min. )Then have honey with warm water. If you want you can add lemon juice in that.
I tried cinnamon tea also it is not worked for me :( If you want you can try it.
For break fast:
For Break fast we can have cabbage, tomato, green chilly and onion soup or Oats.
Oats means take 25 to 35 gms of oats and cook it with water and a pinch of salt for 3 min. in MW.

Then add curd or butter milk and make it 2 x 200ml cups. Have it.
Or you can have a cup full of cabbage, onion, tomato and green chilly soup.
How to make this?
One hand full of cabbage, 1 medium size onion, 2 green chilly and one tomato.
Chop all the ingredients. Just put them in water and cook well. Add little salt.

Take as it is.
For Lunch:

· For lunch, measure 75 gms of rice, and have it as per your wish.
· Like, take lemon rice, coriander rice, pudina(mint leaves) rice or curd rice. or you can divide into two to have one mixed rice and curd rice.

· For lunch have this cooked rice with one cucumber or one tomato or one carrot as raitha.
· If you are taking mixed rice for lunch, you can have raitha.
· Or you can have some curry(Gravy) with that mixed rice.
· But make curry without oil. That is all.
· If you want to take veg. rice or Pulav, then reduce the rice quantity to 50 gms.
· For curd rice you can have pickle.
For evening snack:Have 2 to 4 biscuts, one hand full of channa or ground nut , one hand full of potato chips. any one like this of your choice.



That is about 50 to 60 gms of these kind of snack with one coffee or tea. Or even you can take fruit juice.



For dinner:

Have only fruits. Better to have apples and oranges.
Once in a while you can change the fruits.
But don’t have banana regularly.

Occasionally you can have it.
Have one cup of low fat milk.
